Two Storey KitchenFalkner Eggington Court is a vibrant hall of residence situated to the south of the campus. Bounded by Ashleigh Drive, Fairmont Drive and Forest Road, Falk-Egg (as it is affectionately known) is set in an attractive wooded environment, conveniently located south of the Universities administrative hub.

Falk-Egg Hall provides accommodation for 579 students and forms the largest self-catered Hall of Residence on the campus. The hall comprises 73 accommodation flats. Each flat consists of eight study bedrooms, kitchen and associated toilet and washing facilities. The blocks have been constructed to form cosy inward facing quads.

Purple, Yellow and Orange quads make up Falkner Court; while on the other side of the road, Red, Blue and Green Quads form Eggington Court. Each Quad has a representative who sits on the Hall Committee. Falkner Eggington court is the only accommodation to be open 52 weeks a year.

Falk-Egg offers very good value for money. Every study bedroom includes standard furnishing and equipment such as a bed, shelving, table, lights, wardrobe and curtains.

All study bedrooms are supplied with phones and connected to the campus wide network and students with computers are able to access, e-mail, the Internet and University Library Catalogues (Link doesn't work of campus).

As self catered accommodation Falk-Egg allows the choice of dining in the various food outlets on campus thus allowing complete flexibility and freedom. While the modern kitchen facilities, which include electric cooker with grill, fridge freezer, electric kettle, cooking pans and sink, allow you to experiment with your own culinary delights. The dining area also doubles up as the social centre for the flats.

The halls, once part of Towles fields, are now bounded by mature trees which provide an environment for many forms of wildlife including foxes, hedgehogs, other small mammals and a variety of bird life. Also lurking behind Green Quad is our resident roaming guinea pig.
