Hello and welcome to the Falkner-Eggington Court website, this website is set up to help people interested in life on Falkner Eggington Boulevard. Falkner Eggington Court, also known as Falk-Egg, is the second largest of the 14 halls at Loughborough University, and is one of the best at sport and RAG. The hall life is run by the Falk-Egg committee, this committee is elected solely from the hall members to represent them in different areas. The committee is responsible for organizing sports teams and training, RAG raids around the country to collect money for many good charities, arranging socials for members of the hall, as well as a range of other ways of making hall life the best it could be. We organise 40 different sports leagues and 1 day event where Hall teams compete against each other, all year round. With nearly 60 fixtures per week, there's always something to get involved in, from all the mainstream sports, to things like archery, 10 pin bowling or canoeing. Raising And Giving, or RAG for short, is a money raising organisation at a number of universities, however Loughborough shines in this area as well. Whether it is taking a bucket and going to London to collect, or supporting marathon runners, Loughborough university knows what it is doing; in 2007/8 the university raised £908,318.12 which was the most raised by any University ever by a long way. This amazing figure was helped a lot by the amazing effort of Falk-Egg, with nearly £90,000 being raised by the students in Falk-Egg. 
Loughborough Students Rag is a non-profit organisation and everything we raise goes to various charities, be they of your own choice if you have one close to heart, or to local charities in the Charnwood area. We do this by collecting money on streets, running the famous Rag Bonfire Extravaganza, marathons, even by climbing up mountains, throwing ourselves out of planes. The choice is endless, and we always welcome new and fresh ideas if you have any. Another way the committee help the students of Falk-Egg is by arranging nights out, these nights range from trips to Nottingham to a simple trip to the cinema. These events run by the hall are carefully planned out to ensure safety while have a good time. We also supply a regular newsletter "The Boulevard" and a large collection of merchandise with the Falk-Egg logo.
